Gary Harder - Gary has organized BMX racing in Abbotsford for years. He is a tireless trail builder - if you've ridden at all in the lower mainland, you will have have been hard pressed not to have ridden on a trail he had a hand in. He is the president of FVMBA, and is proactive in being an advocate for bkiing interests in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Maple Ridge and Mission. He was also an avid XC and DH racer back before he became old and decrepit. (and he did't write this description)
Tom Mackesy - An experienced trail builder and organizer, Tom also holds the position of Abbotsford Representative with FVMBA. There's some theory about him being 7 seconds faster then me, but I'm convinced he rode through some localized time warp anomaly.
Steve Rosset - Steve is secretary/coordinator for FVMBA - yup the guy that sends all the email. He's looking after loose ends in organizing this race and generally being a pain in the ass. He would have been the fastest racer in his age category last year, but some other old guys entered. Currently pissed about a screwed pinky, but he'll ride again!!
Maria Dyment - Maria is just plain crazy. The only time I see her, she's riding uphill. Ok, she's training for the Test of Metal this year. Maria is recruiting volunteers for this years race, so if you see her - RUN!!
Todd Kaulback and Ewan Fafard - Course maintenance and buffage. I know there's been many others as well, but these two guys have put in a HUGE effort, getting the DH course in primo condition.
